Brown Mountain Observatory has a permanent structure! With Aaron’s help, the pier was poured, and a pier was placed that will raise and lower electronically. The custom adapter and level were installed and a custom electrical cabinet was built to provide several GFCi outlets, USB charging and 12V DC power. This can now be used for Astronomy and Astrophotography and cuts a massive about of time out for setting up and tearing down after each session. Polar Alignment should be super quick with this setup as well.
